    Chichester Pride

Chichester Pride returns on Saturday 23rd May 2026, bringing a bigger and bolder celebration to the front lawn of Chichester College. This much-loved community Pride blends strong local energy with high-quality entertainment, creating a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ visitors and allies alike.

    Parade and Event Times

The day begins with a city-centre parade at 10:45am, setting off along Guildhall Street, continuing through North Street and West Street, before finishing at Chichester College with speeches.

The main festival runs from 12pm to 7pm on the college’s front lawn. Expect a lively mix of performances, social spaces, and community engagement throughout the afternoon and early evening.

    Line-Up Highlights

The 2026 programme is already shaping up to be one of Chichester Pride’s strongest yet, with a diverse mix of drag, live music, and cabaret.

Confirmed performers include RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Baga Chipz and Season 7 queen Nyongbella, alongside international Pride favourite Eva Iglesias. Hosting duties are in the hands of Brighton favourites Ophelia Payne and Mama Tasty, ensuring high energy throughout the day.

The line-up also features award-winning drag artist Son of a Tutu, genre-blending performer Symoné, and pop tribute act Platinum Steps. Visitors can also expect performances from Ultimate Ariana, Pearl Does Country, comedian Brent Would, and the retro-inspired Solid Gold Fitness experience. More acts are expected to be announced.

    Venue and Accessibility

Chichester Pride takes place at Chichester College Front Lawn (PO19 1SB), a gated outdoor space that allows for more room to explore, socialise, and enjoy the performances.

Accessibility is a clear focus. The site includes step-free access, accessible toilets, wheelchair-friendly areas, and BSL interpretation. Assistance dogs are welcome with prior arrangement, and limited accessible parking is available.

    Tickets and Entry Information

Tickets are now available, with prices ranging from free to £12. Entry is free for children under 12 when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. As this is a gated event, booking in advance is recommended.

Security checks are in place on entry. Outside alcohol, food, and most liquids are not permitted, and a Challenge 25 policy operates at the bar. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

    Why Attend Chichester Pride

Chichester Pride offers a more relaxed alternative to larger UK Pride events, while still delivering a strong entertainment line-up and a genuine sense of community. It’s particularly appealing for those looking to connect with a local LGBTQ+ scene in a friendly, manageable setting.

Its location also makes it an easy addition to a South Coast trip, with Brighton’s larger gay scene just a short journey away for those wanting to extend their Pride weekend.
