Honolulu Pride 2026 returns to the sun-soaked shores of Oahu for a vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ community and culture!

What happens at Honolulu Pride?

Kickoff Celebration

The festivities launch with the official opening party at Scarlet Honolulu, the island's premier nightclub for the LGBTQ+ community. This high-energy event brings together locals and visitors for a night of music, dancing, and celebration.

Pride in Paradise

The Pride Parade marches down world-famous Kalākaua Avenue at 4 PM, celebrating businesses, nonprofits, and allies who support the queer community. The route offers spectacular views of Diamond Head crater and pristine Waikīkī beaches.

As the sun sets, the Pride Festival begins at 5 PM at the Waikīkī Shell. The celebration features 70+ community booths and four hours of live entertainment in this natural amphitheater surrounded by palm trees and steps from the beach.

Grand Finale

The official Pride afterparty takes place at Hula's Bar & Lei Stand, a beloved local institution serving the LGBTQ+ community for decades. This intimate venue provides the perfect setting to conclude the weekend's celebrations.

Pride with a Tropical Twist

Honolulu Pride attracts more than 20,000 participants and viewers, drawing visitors from across the Pacific region. The mid-October timing takes advantage of Hawaii's ideal weather and offers a unique Pride experience that combines celebration with tropical paradise!
