About this Trip
Your all-gay adventure will begin with a guided sightseeing of Prague. Pragueâs historic centre remains a beautiful mixture of cobblestone pathways, fairytale castles and gothic cathedrals.
From Prague, youâll go aboard the Amadeus Queen, where a crew of forty will take care of your every need. You'll then sail off down the Danube, taking in some of the most beautiful sites in Eastern Europe.Â

Group Trip Breakdown

Day 1: Prague
You will be welcomed at the airport by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel. For the rest of the day, you are free to explore Prague in your own time. Prague is one of the most romantic cities you'll visit, and often seems like something out of a movie.Â
You can visit iconic NĂĄrodnĂ Galerie v Praze, and trendy gay-friendly cafĂ©s such as Celebrity Cafe.Â
Prague also has great nightlife and very cheap beer, but don't get too drunk as we have a busy day ahead.Â

Day 2: Sightseeing In Prague
On the second day, we have arranged a sightseeing tour of historic Prague, including the Church of Ten, the spectacular Astro0mical Clock and Charles Bridge. Youâll also have the opportunity wander through Wenceslas Square and see the famous Medieval castle in the city centre.Â

Day 3: Prague To Passau, Germany
On the third day, youâll enjoy a breakfast in your hotel before being driven through the pastoral countryside to Passau. Arriving at the point where the two rivers Inn and IIz meet the Danube, you will go onboard the ship for a Gala Welcome Dinner.Â

Day 4: Passau To Linz, Austria.
On the fourth day, the ship will cruise over the Danube River through scenic valleys and past charming riverside towns. After enjoying your breakfast, you can go on a full-day tour to Salzburg and its most popular âSound of Musicâ sights, including the Wedding Church, Mirabell Gardens, the Great Salzburg Festival Hall and much more.Â
For those who prefer to stay onboard, you will cruise further down from Passau to Linz. Here youâll be able to take a walk through historical the streets of Austriaâs third largest city.

Day 5: Melk
On the fifth day, the cruise will continue through the narrow Strudengau and reach the Wachau valley, where Melk is located.
After breakfast you will have the opportunity to explore Melk, home to a magnificent Benedictine Abbey and one of Europeâs largest baroque monasteries. You will be expected back at the ship for lunch and a cruise further through the romantic Wachau Valley. In the evening, the ship will arrive in Vienna, the âCity of Musicâ and Austriaâs magnificent capital. Â
After breakfast you will have the opportunity to explore Melk, home to a magnificent Benedictine Abbey and one of Europeâs largest baroque monasteries. You will be expected back at the ship for lunch and a cruise further through the romantic Wachau Valley. In the evening, the ship will arrive in Vienna, the âCity of Musicâ and Austriaâs magnificent capital. Â

Day 6: Vienna
On the sixth day, youâll be able to explore the Austrian capital freely or take part in the guided city tour, which includes the world famous Vienna Opera House, Ringstrasse, St. Stephenâs Cathedral and more.Â

Day 7: Vienna
Today you'll get to experience the city of Vienna some more! Our representatives are available on-sight to give you the best recommendations, such as a ride in the 19th-century Riesenrad overlooking the whole of Vienna, or the oldest Zoo in the world, Tiergarten. In the evening, you can experience a Strauss and Mozart concert at the Kursalon.Â

Day 8: Bratislava, Budapest
On the eighth day, the ship will arrive in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, and one of the most famous cities on the Danube River. You'll then enjoy a tour of the city, including the Archiepiscopal Palace, the National Theatre and the 13th-century Bratislava Castle with impeccable views stretching all the way to the border of Austria.
Other attractions include the city gates, the Baroque Palaces of the 0blemen and the elegant residences that have survived from the days of the Danube monarchy. The tour will also include a walk through the pedestrian precinct, past St. Martin's Cathedral, the Town Hall and Michael's Gate. Youâll then head back to the ship and arrive in Budapest later that evening.Â

Day 9: Budapest, Hungary
A sightseeing tour will begin at the historic Buda Castle, where you can enjoy a splendid view of the twin cities of Buda and Pest. Your tour also features the Fishermanâs Bastion, the Royal Palace, St. Stephenâs Basilica, and Heroesâ Square and lots more. After dinner, the ship will cruise past the cityâs riverfront for an exceptional evening experience. Â
Day 10: Departure
The tenth day will be the last day of your trip. You will be picked up at the hotel and driven to the airport, ready to take your flight back home. However, if you would like to stay one or two extra days in Budapest we are more than happy to extend your stay.Â

Youâll be sailing in style on the Lord of the Glens, a splendid Scottish cruise ship. Itâs an elegant seafaring yacht that can sail through the Caledonian Canal but also sail the Atlantic. This will be an all LGBT trip of no more than 54 guests. Expect a Scottish breakfast every morning and nightly entertainment.
